Our story

Klien IT is a versatile company with a heart for the cleaning industry. Created from the urge to relieve, strengthen and innovate cleaning companies through effective systems and technology. From the very beginning in 2020, the Klien IT system has been developed entirely in-house, in consultation with cleaning companies and experts. The goal was clear from the start: a rock-solid system that continues to develop. By 2025, cleaning companies from all over the Netherlands are using the ERP system and it has been expanded to Belgium, France and Italy.

The origin

Antonio Kouwenberg witnessed the daily frustrations within his father’s cleaning company: fragmented information, cluttered administration, and endless spreadsheets. What if there was a single system that brought everything together? Together with other cleaning companies, he began developing Klien-IT: simple, comprehensive, and user-friendly.

The leap into the deep

What started as an internal tool grew into an industry-wide solution. In 2021, Klien IT launched 2.0: a ready-to-use system with an app, links and a sleek design. Practical example? After standing in front of a closed door without a key, the idea for the digital key system arose. This is how the system continues to grow from practice.

Leaps into the future

Klien IT is now active in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Italy. The app is available in more than 30 languages ​​and is continuously being developed together with users. One mission is central: strengthening cleaning companies with smart software that really works – for every level and every function.
